Gosberton House care home aims
to provide residents with a secure, relaxed and homely
environment in which their care, well being and comfort is
of prime importance.
We endeavour to preserve and maintain the dignity,
individuality and privacy of our residents within a warm and
caring atmosphere, always being sensitive to the residents
ever changing needs whether medical, therapeutic, cultural,
psychological, spiritual, emotional or social. |
 |
| All activities within
the home are designed to encourage and maintain mental
alertness, self esteem, social interaction with other
residents whilst recognising the core values of care
which are fundamental to the philosophy of our home.
Residents are encouraged to continue to pursue existing
hobbies and aided to learn new ones. They are encouraged
to make social visits outside of the home – depending on
their capabilities, and various outings are arranged
throughout the year. |
 |
WE BELIEVE AN INTERESTING PROGRAM
OF EVENTS ADDS CONTRAST AND COLOUR TO OUR RESIDENTS LIVES.

time. We have an “open door policy” allowing residents and
visitors to freely come and go.
We welcome residents pets.
- Religious
services are held within the home with ministers
of different denominations visiting.
Arrangements can be made for anyone wishing to
attend Sunday services, communion etc.
- We have our own
hairdressing salon.
- We have regular
visits from a chiropodist and the services of a
dentist, optician and physiotherapist can be
arranged.

Residents are
helped to personalise and equip their rooms as they wish and
we endeavour to retain as much privacy and dignity as
possible at all times. |
 |
Meals are an important part of daily routine. We provide a
nutritious menu with a range of meals residents can choose
from. They can decide where and when to consume the food of
their choice while always considering special dietary needs. |
